The authorities of McPherson University, Ogun State with the support of the Foursquare Ministers Welfare Scheme(FMWS) will on Friday, 27th October, 2023 unveil an ultramodern hostel facilities for the use of its rising student population.
The programme which is expected to start by 10:00 a.m at the University’s campus along Km 75, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Seriki Sotayo will see the General Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria and Visitor to the University, Revd. Sam Aboyeji, performing the official commissioning of the edifice,and dedicating it to the glory of God.
The hostel is exquisitely built and located in a serene environment on the campus with a capacity to accommodate over 224 female students and has 56 rooms which are spacious and all en-suite.There are provisions for offices, porter’s lodge, hall warden’s room, buttery, cafeteria and common room, among others.
The event is expected to attract many dignitaries from all walks of life, including the Management,Staff and Students of the University.
In a related development ,the Vice-Chancellor, Prof.Francis Igbasan, has reiterated the commitment of his management team towards accelerating the physical infrastructure and development of the University, while calling on all relevant stakeholders to lend support to move the Institution forward.
