Internal Audit Unit – McPherson University

The Internal Audit Unit which is based in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office ensures that the invoices presented for payment and the goods supplied to the University met the stipulated standards both in terms of quality and quantity. At inception, this function was carried out by a Clerk in the Bursar’s Office. With the employment of an Internal Auditor, this function was transferred to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor. The Internal Auditor is currently being assisted by a Youth Corper. As the University expands, it is planned that the functions of the office will be expanded to meet all the ramifications of internal auditing.
